April 2001 Gathering Theme: Resistance
The 2001 People's Poetry Gathering focused on the poets and poetries of resistance. In acknowledgement and celebration of the poets who have resisted challenges to their identity, lifeways and culture through poetry, we've started an international collabortive poem on the topic of resistance. Please lay down some verses from your own experiences.
